At Castilla Orthodontics, like most other offices, we advocate lifetime retainer wear at night. It’s the only way to ensure teeth stay in the same position they were in when braces were removed. We understand that life happens and retainers may get lost or you may simply fall out of the habit of wearing them each night. Furthermore, it is still possible that teeth will shift through the years and retainers may need to be tweaked to correct this.
In our office, we offer two programs to ensure our patients’ smiles stay as beautiful as we left when the braces came off. The first is our Lifetime Retainer Program, which allows patients to get replacement retainers at a very low cost. The second is our Guarantee My Smile program. This allows our patients the opportunity to have braces put back on until they are happy with their alignment again, for a small monthly fee. Regardless of the circumstance—either losing your retainer or forgetting to wear it—we will start orthodontic treatment again.
