💫 Overview
If you’ve been stuck in overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or delaying a move you know you need to make… this episode is for you.
In Episode 18 of QueenMode, I’m teaching you how to stop overthinking and make confident business decisions—without being reckless, impulsive, or constantly reopening the same mental file every day. Because overthinking isn’t neutral. It’s expensive. And if you don’t learn how to lead yourself through decisions, you will stay busy… without building momentum.
This episode is a decision reset. A self-trust reset. A CEO energy reset.
Overthinking is costing you more than you think
Most women treat overthinking like it’s a personality trait.
“I’m just an overthinker.”
“I’m just cautious.”
“I’m just being responsible.”
No, Queen.
Overthinking is often fear wearing business makeup.
And it comes with hidden costs:
- Money
- Momentum
- Energy
- Identity
And you cannot build a powerful business while training yourself to distrust your own leadership.
You don’t become confident and then decide — you decide, and confidence catches up
One of the biggest lies women are carrying is that confidence is a prerequisite for action.
It’s not.
Confidence is a side effect of self-trust.
And self-trust is built through reps.
The rep cycle looks like this:
Decide → Act → Learn → Refine.
That’s it.
But a lot of women try to reverse the order. They try to learn forever so they can feel “ready” before they move.
And that’s how you end up with a brain full of knowledge… and a life that still looks the same.
Optimizing vs. avoiding: the truth about “research”
I’m not against due diligence. Queens do due diligence.
But there is a difference between doing smart research and outsourcing certainty because you’re afraid to be responsible for the outcome.
Here’s the truth:
Optimizing happens after a decision, inside movement.
Avoiding happens before a decision, inside fantasy.
If you’re still “researching” but you haven’t taken a single proof step—no call, no test, no draft, no experiment—that’s not strategy.
That’s avoidance.
And I say that with love… because I’ve lived it.
The hidden taxes of hesitation (including the Brand Tax)
Overthinking doesn’t just slow you down. It charges you interest.
In this episode, I break down the four taxes you pay when you hesitate:
1) The time tax — weeks lost to decisions that should take minutes.
2) The energy tax — mental tabs open all day.
3) The timing tax — missed windows that don’t stay open forever.
4) The brand tax — inconsistency that lowers trust and conversions.
This is the part most entrepreneurs miss:
Your brand is not your logo.
Your brand is your decisions made visible.
When you’re overthinking, it leaks into your messaging. It leaks into your marketing. It leaks into your leadership. One week you’re premium, the next week you’re discounting. One month you’re consistent, the next month you disappear because you’re “rethinking strategy.”
The Authority Gap: the part women leaders need to name
In Episode 18, I also go deep on something that affects women entrepreneurs at a level most people never talk about:
The Authority Gap.
It’s the dynamic where men are often assumed competent until proven otherwise, while women are often expected to prove competence before they’re granted authority.
And this creates a double bind:
If you’re decisive, you’re labeled “bossy,” “aggressive,” or “too much.”
If you’re warm and accommodating, your competence gets questioned.
So what do many women do?
They soften.
They over-explain.
They pre-apologize.
They ask for consensus.
They hesitate.
They reopen decisions they already made—because they’re afraid of being disliked.
And I need you to hear me:
That is not a character flaw.
That is an adaptation.
But it becomes a business problem when you’re making approval decisions instead of business decisions.
So I give you an interrupt you can use in real time.
And I give you simple script swaps so you can lead without performing for your authority.
My decision-making system: fast, clean, and not reckless
This episode is not “just decide!” motivational fluff.
I teach a real system.
The core framework that will change your speed immediately is:
Two-Way Door vs. One-Way Door decisions.
Most decision paralysis happens because you treat every decision like it has equal weight.
It doesn’t.
Some decisions are reversible (two-way doors). You can test and adjust.
Some decisions are high-stakes (one-way doors). You need due diligence—but you still need a deadline.
I also give you what I call a Queen Safety Rail, so decisiveness never turns into impulsiveness.
Because decisive does not mean reckless.
Queen decision-making is fast and clean.
The “One Decision Today” challenge
I don’t want you to read this, feel inspired, and then go right back into the same loop.
So in Episode 18, I challenge you to pick one decision you’ve been avoiding and take one proof step within 24 hours.
Not next week. Not someday.
Tomorrow.
Because movement creates data.
Data creates clarity.
And clarity creates confidence.
