💫 Overview

In Episode 22 of QueenMode, I’m talking about something I believe every entrepreneur needs to master but almost no one teaches: nervous system regulation as a business skill. Not as a luxury. Not as a vibe. As a skill—because a dysregulated leader makes expensive decisions.

This episode is for the woman who looks “fine” on the outside… but internally feels wired, tight, edgy, exhausted, or constantly bracing for impact. If you’ve been telling yourself you just need more discipline, more strategy, or a better plan—this conversation will change the way you look at your stress. Because what you’re calling “normal pressure” may actually be survival physiology.

Nervous System Wealth: what it actually means

When I say Nervous System Wealth, I mean your ability to stay clear, steady, and powerful under pressure. Not because your life is easy. But because your body knows how to return to safety.

That’s the point. The goal is not to become a monk. The goal is not to be calm 24/7. The goal is to become recoverable—to shorten the time between a trigger and your return to clarity.

Because when you’re regulated, you don’t just feel better. You lead better.

How I learned this (the hard way)

I share a moment in this episode that humbled me in the most ridiculous way: I once flew to a Tony Robbins Happiness event… and I had a near breakdown over losing my headphones on the way there.

It wasn’t about the headphones. It was about the fact that my nervous system was so fried that one small inconvenience tipped me over the edge. And that moment made me realize something I didn’t want to admit:

I wasn’t just “busy.”
I was dysregulated.

And from there, I break down two distinct seasons of stress I experienced as an entrepreneur—because dysregulation doesn’t always look like burnout. Sometimes it looks like shutdown. Sometimes it looks like reactivity. And both are expensive.

The real cost of chronic stress for entrepreneurs

Most people treat stress like an emotion. I treat it like a business variable—because stress changes how you think.

When you live in chronic stress, you’re telling your body every day: danger, danger, danger. And your body responds accordingly. Sleep gets impacted. Digestion gets impacted. Hormones get impacted. Inflammation goes up. Your patience drops. Your resilience drops. Your optimism drops.

And your decision-making changes too.

One of the most important lines in this episode is this:
Dysregulation makes you choose relief over results.

Stress shows up in sales more than you think

This is one of my favorite parts of the episode because it’s so real.

When you’re regulated, you sell from power—clean, calm, confident.
When you’re dysregulated, you sell from tension.

That isn’t a marketing problem. It’s a physiology problem.

I say it plainly:
Regulated energy sells. Desperate energy repels.
Your state is part of the offer.

Your stress leaks into your culture (yes, your team notices)

This is the leadership truth nobody wants to admit:

You think you’re hiding it. You’re not.

Your team feels your stress first—through your tone, your pace, your reactivity, your inconsistency, your micromanaging, your emotional fire drills.

And I’m going to say a sentence I want every entrepreneur to remember:

No one wants to work inside your nervous system.

That doesn’t mean your team doesn’t respect you or love you. It means they’re human. They want stability and safety. They want consistency. They want leadership that feels clean—not chaotic.

The unique stress load women entrepreneurs carry

Women entrepreneurs aren’t just running companies. We’re carrying rooms.

In this episode, I talk about the unique stressors many women are managing at the same time.

And then I share a piece of my own visibility story that I know will resonate.

Visibility stress (the visibility tax” nobody warns you about)

Before I became a business owner, I was private. My social media was private. My life was private.

Then my marketing team kept telling me: “People want to see the doctor in the ads. They want to see you.”

So I put my face out there. And it worked—those ads were successful, and we brought in a lot of new patients.

But then I started seeing troll comments..

It was my first real lesson in what I now call the visibility tax: when you become more visible, you become a screen for other people’s projections.

I don’t regret doing it. I’m glad I grew. But I had to learn a skill: how to stop letting strangers rent space in my body.

Because if you let the internet control your nervous system, you will cap your own growth.

Why I believe in meditation (and why its in my protocol)

I’m a huge Joe Dispenza follower—and I’m passionate about meditation because it changed my life.

In this episode, I say it clearly: meditation saved my life.

And yes, my daily protocol includes a 15-minute meditation.

I know some people resist meditation because they think it’s too time-consuming. But honestly? Most people have 15 minutes. The bigger issue is belief.

They don’t believe it’s worth it. They say: “My mind is racing the whole time.”

But meditation is a muscle.

I also talk about compassion here, because compassion is part of regulation. If you can’t be compassionate with yourself, how can you expect others to be?

The Regulated CEO Protocol (what to do daily)

I share a simple, practical framework you can actually stick to:

  • A 15-minute morning meditation (plus a short intention-setting practice)
  • A midday reset to interrupt survival mode before meetings or decisions
  • A brief evening closure routine to downshift your body and protect sleep

I also give you:

  • A 90-second Fire Drill Reset for when your business feels like it’s on fire
  • Micro-resets you can use in real time
  • A 7-day Nervous System Wealth Challenge to prove to yourself that regulation changes your leadership

Because I don’t want you to just agree with me. I want you to experience it.

The core message of Episode 22

If you take nothing else from this episode, take this:

Your next level doesn’t require more pressure.
It requires more capacity.

You don’t need more discipline. You need a nervous system that can hold the life you’re building.

Nervous system wealth is not about being calm all day. It’s about being recoverable.
